While I was painting this original mixed media and oil painting, for some unknown reason I kept thinking of a friend of mine. I asked her if she ever had horses and she said she had one when she was a kid. Months later she was showing me some of her photographs and one of them was of her horse from long ago. It looked just like the horse I painted on this canvas!
