40 x 30 | Mixed Media on stretched, gallery wrapped canvas | Original | $600 | SOLD
Looking across the vista of the Blue Ridge Mountains will fill you with a sense of awe. The mountains just keep rolling, layer after layer in front of you. The mountain range looks blue due to a chemical from native trees called isoprene that scatters blue light from the sun. This original mixed media and oil painting was inspired by a photo I took when we found a perfect spot along the Blue Ridge Parkway to absorb the beautiful sunset.
